Job summary

Floor & Decor is hiring a Receiving Associate to assist in warehouse operations, unload and audit products, and stage inventory for efficient store replenishment. The role requires forklift certification, attention to detail, and the ability to work in varying weather and high-pressure periods.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with Floor & Decor's core values.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Demonstrate understanding and compliance with safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Complete required department and equipment training (must be forklift certified).
