Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada is seeking a versatile Warehouse Associate in Houston to perform bulk/material handling, porter, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, and shipping tasks. You may transition between roles as needed, all while prioritizing safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining clean workspaces, and ensuring accurate packing and loading of orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move products up to 100 lbs within the warehouse.
• Perform warehouse porter duties including general cleaning and maintenance.
• Restock and replenish inventory as needed.
• Receive, put away, and returns processing with accuracy checks and issue resolution.
• Process returns by matching items, documenting discrepancies, and tagging stocked areas.
• Organize, shrink-wrap, and load customer orders for shipping; move products safely and efficiently.
