Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates while handling key tasks in shipping, receiving, packing, and inventory control. The Lead will back up the supervisor as needed and may rotate through departments.

You will conduct PIT and recertification training, perform daily safety inspections, review production reports, and help ensure compliance with SQFI, FDA, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be able to obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Oversee shipping/receiving, packing, and inventory control tasks.
• Complete paperwork per SOPs and regulatory rules (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Perform daily safety inspections and maintain equipment readiness.
• Back up to supervisor and other warehouse roles as needed.
