Michigan Sugar Company is seeking a Sugar Specialist at the Croswell Factory to operate packaging equipment and manage bulk sugar loading in compliance with SQF and GMP guidelines. The role includes potential forklift operation training and occasional milling tasks as needed.

The position is hourly and part-time, with varied shifts and weekend OT as required. This plant is part of a larger cooperative with a long-standing presence in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Operate sugar packaging equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Load bulk sugar trailers and rail cars with accuracy.
• Complete required documentation for operations and possibly adjust machine programming.
• Set up and operate sugar tote filling machine and train for powdered sugar milling as needed.
• Communicate issues to team leader and follow all safety and quality procedures.
