Michigan Sugar Company is seeking a Sugar Specialist at the Carrollton Warehouse. This hourly position involves operating sugar packaging equipment, loading bulk shipments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and SQF requirements.

Fork-truck training and driving may be required. Candidates should have prior production experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow quality system guidelines; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Able to learn Rapid system and basic computer tasks.
• Follows AIB, SQF and GMP quality and safety guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Fill and measure bulk sugar trailers and rail cars.
• Perform quality checks to ensure product meets specs.
• Complete required operation documentation and occasional programming changes.
• Set up and operate sugar tote filling machine.
• Be trainable to operate a powdered sugar mill.
• Report issues to team lead promptly.
• Follow all safety practices and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
