Job summary

Adient US LLC in Normal, IL is seeking a Shipping Clerk to manage daily route manifests and coordinate shipping/receiving tasks. You will keep paperwork accurate, track trailer movements, and ensure BOS compliance.

You will also maintain records for packing slips, returnable containers, and dock activities while communicating issues to a supervisor. A valid forklift license is required and safety procedures must be followed.

• Experience with shipping/receiving processes.
• Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and records.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and Coordinate Daily Route Manifest Log.
• Verify Receiving and Shipping Windows are met- communicate concerns to supervisor
• Updates Hot Parts Board when expedited parts arrive.
• Manage the Dock and Yard Inventory Trailer movements to support production and supermarket lines of replenishment.
• Manage Trailer Tracking Sheet.
• Maintain accurate paperwork to support part inventory of trailers in yard.
• Maintain records of seat shipping system (BOS requirements).
• Coordinate logistics to and from outside warehouses.
• Input incoming receipts on a regular timely basis.
• Diligently maintain records of packing slips.
• Maintain records of returnable containers.
• Track Truckload Utilization (TUMS) accurately.
• Work with minimum supervision.
• Maintain all BOS requirements for shipping, receiving, and transportation management
