Job summary

Peerless-AV is seeking a dependable Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Associate to join our manufacturing team in Illinois. The role focuses on preparing, packaging, and staging outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy, safety, and on-time delivery.

You will process daily shipments, generate labels and documents, and coordinate with carriers while maintaining ERP records. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in shipping or warehousing, forklift experience, and familiarity with StarShip and carrier

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year shipping/warehouse experience preferred.
• Sit-down forklift experience required.
• Experience with StarShip software preferred.
• Experience with UPS WorldShip and/or FedEx Ship Manager is a plus.
• Experience operating an order picker is a plus.
• Experience with pallet wrapping equipment is a plus.
• ERP or inventory management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process daily domestic and international shipments using StarShip or designated software.
• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and documentation.
• Verify products, quantities, addresses, and order information prior to shipment.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and internal departments.
• Maintain shipment records in ERP and shipping systems.
• Operate automated stretch wrapping machine for pallets.
• Load and unload with sit-down forklift and stage pallets.
