Job summary

Tandem Foods is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support production, shipping, and receiving while complying with SQF/BRC food safety standards. The role demands attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on 12 Hour Nights, with forklift operation and inventory control responsibilities.

You will perform order picking with RF scanners, load/unload trucks, maintain equipment, and document activities. Flexibility for shifts and strong safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMPs and food safety/quality requirements under SQF/BRC.
• Operate forklifts safely and maintain equipment.
• Review production sheets to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick-tickets.
• Load/unload transport vehicles and ensure secure placement of products.
• Document shipping/receiving activities thoroughly.
• Follow FIFO procedures and maintain inventory control.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping to keep areas safe.
• Support other warehouse or production duties as assigned.
