Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles and secures with straps or padding to prevent movement.
• Performs load-building by selecting weight, composition, and placement for balanced loads.
• Reads work orders or follows instructions to determine materials to move.
• Conveys materials using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other devices.
• Attaches tags or labels for proper identification of items.
• Adheres to safety procedures to prevent injuries and participates in safety meetings.
