Job summary

Aegis Chemical Solutions is seeking a diligent Blender to support operations in Midland, TX. You will set up mixing tanks, verify batch documentation, and ensure correct ingredients and quantities are used, producing consistent batches in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least two years blending chemicals, a forklift certification, and a high school diploma or GED, with outdoor work in varying weather and comprehensive safety practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to safely perform tasks.
• Two or more years of experience blending chemicals in production.
• Forklift certification and high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical capacity for lifting and daily manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start all mixing tanks and blenders.
• Obtain and understand batch documentation; ensure correct ingredients and quantities.
• Pump and pour chemicals into blend tanks in predetermined quantities.
• Operate equipment safely (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts, etc.).
• Ensure returned raw materials have proper quantities and labeling.
• Follow lab instructions for batch approval and adjustments.
• Complete paperwork and batch documentation promptly.
• Communicate with Treater, Delivery Drivers, Account Representatives, and Account Managers when batches are ready.
