Job summary

Aegis Chemical Solutions seeks a dependable Blender to support operations in Midland, TX. The role involves setting up mixing tanks, handling batch documentation, and ensuring correct ingredients and quantities for each batch.

The position requires 2+ years in chemical blending, a forklift certification, and a high school diploma or GED. Strong English communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience blending chemicals in production chemical industry.
• Forklift certification and high school diploma or GED are required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start all mixing tanks and blenders.
• Obtain and verify batch documentation; ensure correct ingredients for each batch.
• Pumps and pours chemicals into blend tanks as specified.
• Operate equipment safely (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts).
• Ensure materials are returned to inventory with correct quantities and labeling.
• Follow lab instructions for batch approval and adjustments.
• Clean equipment when needed and refer issues to Supervisor.
• Communicate with Treaters, Delivery Drivers, Account Representatives and Account Managers when batches are ready.
• Complete paperwork and batch documentation promptly.
