Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Forklift Operator in Janesville, WI for 1st shift (6:00am–2:00pm) with overtime potential on Sundays. This is a potential temp-to-hire opportunity offering a 1st shift schedule and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, moving materials, packing, inspections, yard maintenance, and paperwork completion.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience or certification is preferred.
• Ability to perform repeated lifting, bending, and climbing tasks.
• Strong attention to safety and accuracy in material handling.

Responsibilities

• Moves materials between storage and work areas as needed.
• Breaks packs to correct size and labels material before loading.
• Performs routine forklift inspections and reports issues.
• Maintains orderly yard and cleans workspace; completes paperwork.

Position Title: Forklift Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday - Friday, Possible Overtime on Sunday) QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Forklift Operator at a company in Janesville, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift.

Forklift Responsibilities:

• Loads and unloads trucks and rail cars
• Moves materials and other products from storage to work areas and vice versa as required Breaks packs to correct size and labels material before loading product onto a truck or rial car
• Performs routine post and pre operation inspections to ensure that the forklift is in proper, working condition
• Maintains yard and ensure it is organized and clean
• Completes paperwork as required

Requirements for Forklift:

• Able to sit, stand and walk throughout the entire shift
• Able to climb in and out of the forklift repetitively throughout shift
• Able to bend, squat, reach, push, pull and climb throughout shift
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Basic math skills and able to read a ruler
