Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Forklift Operator to move material between inventory and production, and to maintain accurate paperwork and records. This role supports production by supplying materials and responding to material needs while adhering to safety policies.

Responsibilities include moving materials, wrapping and labeling finished goods, keeping the inventory yard organized, and completing pre-shift checks. 18+ eligibility applies; forklift licensing is required.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required, forklift driving experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process from one station to another as needed.
• Band, wrap, pack finished goods and label material.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and production records.
• Follow forklift safety rules and company policies.
• Maintain organized inventory yard and perform routine paperwork.

Maintains correct paperwork and production records as required.
