Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a warehouse associate in Cleveland, Tennessee. You will select and weigh ingredients for blending, stage items on pallets, and operate a forklift to move materials in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires at least 2 years in a food manufacturing warehouse, a high school diploma, and basic computer skills. You will follow allergen control procedures and safety rules while supporting inventory and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment including forklift.

Responsibilities

• Select ingredients accurately for batching.
• Weigh ingredients precisely for each batch.
• Stage ingredients on pallets for blending.
• Lift up to 75 pounds continuously.
• Follow Allergen Control Procedures in shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
• Maintain raw material integrity and assist with inventory counts.
• Adhere to safety rules and sanitation standards.

Summary

Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting production goals for customer orders by accurately selecting and weighing ingredients for blending.

Essential Functions

• Consistently select correct ingredients and provide accurate amounts of bulk ingredients per batch requirements.
• Provide accurate weights of partial ingredients per batch requirements.
• Stage ingredients on pallets for blending.
• Must drive a forklift.
• Follow established Allergen Control Program Procedures as it applies to shipping, receiving and warehousing
• Must be able lift up to 75 pounds continuously
• Must maintain integrity of raw materials
• Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
• Must follow good manufacturing practices, and be responsible for sanitation of assigned area.
• Must follow all Safety Rules

Cooperates in maintaining a safe and respectful work environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation offorklift and load move system.
• Basic computer skills.

Work Environment

The job is performed in the warehouse and production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.
