PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to support an HVAC manufacturing leader in Jefferson, GA. The role offers a fixed FT schedule Mon-Fri, 2:30pm–11pm, with overtime as required and pay rate of $18.75/hour.

This hands-on position emphasizes safety, precision, and reliability in material handling to keep production moving. Responsibilities include operating various warehouse equipment, loading/unloading, and using inventory systems, with strict adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification or specialized license.
• Ability to safely operate multiple types of powered industrial equipment.
• Comfort with technology and basic administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials at origins and destinations.
• Use PCs, scanners, and inventory systems.
• Complete required paperwork related to shipments.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with operational guidelines.
• Operate multiple types of equipment including sit-down forklifts, stand-up OPs, reach trucks and cherry pickers.

Location: Jefferson, GA | Pay Rate: $18.75/hour | Schedule: FT/Mon-Fri 2:30pm - 11pm (OT as Required)

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the HVAC manufacturing industry to find skilled Forklift Operators who are ready to make an impact. If you’re experienced, safety-driven, and looking for a stable role in a high-demand industry, this opportunity is for you.

About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll play a critical role in keeping production moving. Your expertise in material handling will directly support the efficient manufacturing and delivery of HVAC products used across the industry. This is a hands-on position where precision, safety, and reliability truly matter.

What You'll Do Day to Day

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport materials safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials at points of origin and destination
• Utilize warehouse technology such as PCs, scanners, and inventory systems
• Complete required paperwork and administrative tasks related to shipments
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with operational guidelines
• Operate multiple types of equipment, including:
• Sit-down forklifts
• Stand-up Order Pickers (OP)
• Order Reach trucks
• Cherry pickers at elevated heights

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• Valid forklift/operator certification or specialized license
• Ability to safely operate multiple types of powered industrial equipment
• Comfort working with technology and basic administrative tasks

Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
• 3-5 years of experience strongly preferred
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Pay Details: $18.75 per hour
