Job summary

Atkore in Cartersville, GA is looking for a Fork Lift Operator for 2nd shift (4:00 pm–12:30 am), Monday through Friday, on-site. You will load/unload to support production lines, supply materials, and complete shipping/warehousing paperwork.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting, with familiarity in paperwork and lean processes.

• Experience operating forklift or similar equipment.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with paperwork and scanning.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Fork Lift Operator to be based out of Cartersville, GA. Reporting to the Supervisor, this person will have broad responsibility within the production department. Flexibility will be required dependent on projects and workload.

What you’ll do:

Forklift Operator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Loading and unloading product / material for production lines
• Supply raw material to production lines and assist in constant production
• Paperwork to process shipping and warehousing activity
• All other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
• Previous work experience operating a forklift or other similar equipment preferred.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• Previous work experience with paperwork and scanning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lean production processes preferred.

• Complete any required training
