The role emphasizes continuous improvement, lean practices, and hands‑on engineering support to ensure safe, efficient production and quality adherence across forging operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent engineering related experience).
• Experience with industrial automation systems (robotics, PLCs, or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime, efficiency, and throughput.
• Identify and resolve die issues using our discovery tool and team collaboration to implement solutions.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and eliminate process waste.
• Support RCCM and Autonomous Maintenance programs with maintenance teams.
• Program, implement, and support automation systems for forging jobs.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and technical support for automation equipment.
• Train production staff on safe operation of automation systems.
• Develop standardized work instructions and training materials for automation processes.
