Job summary

Walor North America in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Machine Operator for the Forging – First Shift to join the Billet Prep team. You will operate machines, load steel with an overhead crane, and handle materials to help improve press efficiency and product quality.

This on-site role runs 7:00am to 3:15pm, Monday through Friday, with some overtime. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, print reading skills, and basic math, and be prepared for routine documentation and 5S adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Print reading ability required.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine and secondary equipment, including feeding material manually.
• Load steel into sawing equipment using overhead crane.
• Material handling with a forklift.
• Measuring/Documenting product to ensure quality standards.
• Perform operator-level maintenance and assist maintenance during breakdowns.
• Adhere to 5S principles and keep area clean.
• Complete required department documentation.
