Job summary

Walor North America is seeking a Forging Machine Operator for the Columbus, Ohio facility to join our team on the 2nd shift. You will operate forging machinery, handle materials with a forklift, document dimensions, and support quality processes while following safety and 5S standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills and print reading ability. The position includes benefits and a path to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Print reading and basic math are required.
• Ability to operate machinery and assist in quality tasks.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forging machine and secondary equipment; feed material manually.
• Handle materials with a forklift and move components safely.
• Support department tasks and document produced parts for quality.
• Record measurements and maintain product quality records.
• Perform operator level maintenance and report issues to supervision.
• Sort non-conforming product and assist with cleaning equipment.
• Comply with 5S, safety standards and company directives.
