The Shultz Steel LLC in California seeks a seasoned supervisor to direct the crews and floor operations of heavy‑duty hydraulic forging presses and manipulators. You will bend, form, and straighten metal extrusions, forgings, rings and bars while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will lead die changes safely, coordinate with engineering, review shop travelers and drawings, and ensure production meets SSFP and quality procedures in a fast, noise-rich environment.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school or 4–6 years related experience.
• Ability to direct die changes safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsabilités

• Direct the crews and floor operation of forging presses and manipulators.
• Train and organize the crew to manufacture forgings per policies and procedures.
• Read shop travelers, drawings and SSFPs; coordinate with engineering.
• Report equipment damage and maintain safe work practices.
