Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Forge Operator II (Small Press) in Cleveland, OH, to set up, operate, and maintain forging presses for aerospace components. You will read blueprints, manage die changes, and perform in-process inspections to ensure part conformance.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience; forging, metalworking, or heavy industrial preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, adjust, and monitor small forging press equipment per specs and production requirements.
Produce forged aerospace components meeting quality and customer specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, routers, tooling layouts, and process docs for setups and production.
Perform equipment changeovers, die setups, adjustments, and minor tooling maintenance to maintain quality and efficiency.
Conduct in-process inspections using Gauges and measuring tools to verify conformance.
Monitor forging parameters and equipment performance, reporting deviations or malfunctions promptly.
