Job summary

thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies in Danville, IL seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain forge line equipment and support plant facilities. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, while coordinating with robotics and PLC controls to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, an Industrial Maintenance AAS or equivalent, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing (5+ years)
• Background in mechanics, electrical, and hydraulics
• Knowledge of forging and crankshaft design
• Familiar with robotics and PLCs
• Strong problem solving and attention to quality

Responsibilities

• Operate forge line machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance and record downtime
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment
• Maintain records of PM readings
• Monitor robotics and die tonnage
• Report downtime and safety issues
