thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies seeks a Controls Engineer in Danville, IL to troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, diagnose electronics, and support automation projects. You will work hands-on inside machines, update electrical drawings, and participate in special projects to upgrade control systems.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing controls, with knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens/Allen-Bradley systems, PLCs, CNC, and

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting electronic controls in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of electronics and machine control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Allen Bradley).
- Experience with PLCs, CNC troubleshooting, and servo drive systems.
Responsabilidades
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant equipment including voltages, components, cables, and sensors.
- Troubleshoot and program PLCs, diagnose machine faults and failures.
- Research and recommend machine control upgrades to address outdated controls.
- Document changes to electrical drawings and generate updated drawings.
- Prepare daily log reports and track off-shift activity for follow-up.
