Tecomet, Inc is seeking a press operator to set up and run forge and trim presses, following continuous improvement principles to meet quality and production targets.

The role requires reading blueprints, aligning dies, monitoring dimensions, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting SPC data. A minimum of 2 years press operating experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred.

Formación

• 2 years of press operating experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up dies on press die sets and clamp fixtures.
• Align parts between dies and fixtures on press.
• Operate presses to forge and trim parts per specifications.
• Monitor dimensions and ensure conformance to customer specs.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Complete quality documents and SPC data.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety in the work area.
• Read safety rules and operation manuals.
