Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an experienced operator to feed materials into the press, verify die usage, and manage cooling and trimming after forging. You will work with furnaces, supervising temperatures and die setup to ensure quality parts.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy equipment and blueprints, and be able to work any shift in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency operating a manipulator and positioning materials into the press.
• Ability to load materials into furnaces for forging and safely remove for cooling or trimming.
• Assist with die setup, tear down, and monitor furnace temperatures for proper settings.
• Familiarity with air cooling, water quenching, and trimming after forging.

Responsibilities

• Verifies correct dies are being used.
• Loads material in furnace to be forged and pulls from the furnace and charge into press.
• Air cool, water quench, fan cool or trim as applicable after forging.
• Assist with die set up, tear down, trim operation, and monitoring furnace temps.
