Job summary

CorSource Technology Group seeks a Forestry Technician 3 to support the Chief Forester within the Vegetation Management & Forestry group. This position involves extensive travel across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and surrounding areas to support timber data collection, appraisals, and land access planning.

The role requires expertise in timber valuations, site inspections, and preparing scopes of work, with strong GIS/data skills and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Forestry-related field preferred.
• Experience requirements scale with degree level (6–10+ years).
• Proficient with forestry data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide information tracking of company-owned timber and timber stands.
• Collect forestry data (diameter, height, volume, defects) for projects.
• Enter and analyze field data in company databases.
• Inspect timber/brush removal work onsite and oversee activities.
• Draft scopes of work and technical specs for forestry projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and stakeholders on work products.
