Applicants must hold a high school diploma; a 2-year natural resources degree is preferred. Experience is not required, but familiarity with GIS/GPS and strong communication skills are valued. CDL Class A is required within 180 days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support District Forester with field operation programs.
• Prepare tract and stand maps; collect property and stand data; engage clients.
• Serve as a wildland firefighter and emergency responder statewide; operate firefighting equipment.
• Manage assigned credit cards, vehicles, and equipment; keep gear serviced.
