Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Forester or Forest Nursery Assistant Manager or equivalent
• Equivalent combinations of experience and training that provide the required knowledge and abilities
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license for the Commonwealth vehicle fleet

Responsibilities

• Lead forester staff and technicians
• Develop and track forest treatment goals and field activities
• Review timber sale documents and resource management records
• Support district outreach through events and community programs
• Direct fire protection activities and coordinate training and reporting
