Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Forester or Forest Nursery Assistant Manager or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Survey Coordination: Conduct surveys to identify forest pest levels and prepare maps and reports.
• Program Planning: Develop objectives for forest health activities based on data and evaluations.
• Training Support: Organize and present forest health training for personnel and cooperators.
• Project Oversight: Guide suppression projects by reviewing proposals and coordinating resources.
• Collaboration Efforts: Work with agencies, researchers, and partners to address forest health issues.
• Data Management: Manage field data systems and assist with statewide data coordination.
