Job summary

CFA Institute is seeking an experienced operations-focused professional to support its Research & Policy Center, coordinating cross-functional work and turning strategy into actionable execution. You will shepherd priorities from framing through activation, building narratives for leadership and measuring impact.

This senior individual contributor role focuses on running prioritisation processes, surfacing trade-offs, and ensuring initiatives align with audiences and pathways to influence.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering results in project, programme, change management or operations.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environments without direct authority.
• Strategic thinking and problem solving; ability to translate context into actionable steps.
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to defining, prioritising and managing work.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management; drive decisions.
• Sound judgement in prioritisation and escalation.
• Comfort with imperfect data and building practical dashboards and tools.
• Rigour and attention to detail in presenting work.
• Excellent communication and executive storytelling.
• MBA or PMP/PRINCE2 is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve RPC's Foresight-to-Influence operating model.
• Design transparent prioritisation, review and sequencing processes.
• Translate priorities into workstreams with owners, dependencies, decision points and handoffs.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning, workshops and reviews that move work from agreement into execution.
• Spot risks, stalled handoffs and emerging issues, and elevate them to the right decision-makers.
• Ensure major initiatives consider audiences, outcomes and pathways to influence from the start.
• Maintain portfolio visibility so leadership can see what's moving and where decisions are needed.
• Develop practical measures of adoption, engagement and influence, and build feedback loops into future prioritisation.
• Translate foresight scenarios into practical inputs for planning and stress-testing.
• Create clear strategic narratives and executive-ready materials that connect initiatives.
