Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crew, equipment, and supplies to complete jobs according to contract specifications. You will direct daily crew activities, ensure safety practices, and manage resources to meet schedule and quality targets.

Responsibilities include assigning tasks, enforcing PPE usage, and communicating with property owners. Must pass background checks and drug screening; this is a safety-sensitive role with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Must meet qualifications of all positions on a crew.
• Follow verbal or written directives.
• Delegate work and take accountability for crew performance.
• Understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Adjust to field requirements and act independently.
• Maintain a valid Driver's License and drive company vehicle.
• Work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
• Obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Always follow and enforce safe practices and rules.
• Direct crew members and manage equipment each day.
• Assign specific tasks to crew members and supervise performance.
• Plan and execute the assigned work and tasks in a safe and professional manner.
• Organize job assignments so that work is completed as efficiently as possible.
• Notify property owners of presence on property and obtain permissions as needed.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety compliance on the job.
• Operate and service tools and equipment and oversee load/unload.
