Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crews and oversee all field operations in Charleston, WV. You will direct daily activities, ensure safety and quality, and maintain equipment and supplies to meet contract requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to read site drawings, and the flexibility to travel for storm restoration work. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior utility vegetation management experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management or related fields preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and symbols representing lines and equipment.
• Willingness to travel for storm restoration work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew members and manage equipment each day.
• Assign tasks and supervise performance.
• Plan and execute work in a safe, professional manner.
• Organize job assignments for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety practices are followed on site.
• Inspect completed work and communicate with property owners as needed.
• Maintain records of time, equipment, and materials used.
• Perform daily truck inspections and briefings as required.
