Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crew members, equipment, and supplies to complete contracted vegetation management work. The role involves directing daily tasks, ensuring safety, and communicating with property owners for access and work authorization.

Responsibilities include planning efficient work sequences, supervising performance, and maintaining accurate records while complying with union guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet and demonstrate qualifications of all positions on a crew
• Must be able to follow verbal or written directives
• Must be able to delegate work and take accountability for performance
• Must be able to understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies for each job
• Direct crew and manage equipment on a daily basis
• Assign tasks, supervise performance, and ensure work meets contract specs
• Plan and execute work safely and professionally
• Organize job assignments for efficient completion
• Notify property owners and obtain access for tree trimming or herbicide work
• Ensure PPE usage and adherence to safety practices
• Operate and service tools and equipment used on site
• Record time, equipment, and material usage accurately
• Maintain daily truck inspections and job briefings per policy
• Assist with storm-related duties as needed
