Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Foreperson to lead a field crew in Franklin, NC. The role requires proven experience in line clearance as a climber or bucket operator and the ability to coordinate crew, equipment, and safety procedures on each job.

You will be responsible for directing tasks, ensuring compliance with safety rules, maintaining records, and communicating with property owners to secure access for tree removal or trimming projects. CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior line clearance experience as a climber, trimmer, or bucket operator.
• Requires driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Experience with tree removals and hazard trees.
• Must meet I-9 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew members and manage equipment daily.
• Plan and execute work safely and professionally.
• Notify property owners and obtain access for tree work.
• Ensure PPE is worn and safety practices followed.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris.
• Inspect work and inform customer upon completion.
• Maintain time and material records.
• Coordinate storm and emergency response as needed.
