Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Foreperson/Jarraff Operator in Griffin, GA to coordinate crews and equipment for contract work. You will supervise daily tasks, manage safety practices, and ensure efficient, high-quality operations on-site.

Responsibilities include directing crews, obtaining client access, maintaining PPE and equipment, and keeping accurate records. A background check and drug screen are required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with storm restoration work

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in vegetation management, construction, logging, or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies to complete contracts.
• Direct and supervise daily work, assign tasks, and ensure safety compliance.
• Plan, organize, and execute work efficiently on-site.
• Escort property owners, obtain access permissions, and discuss work details with clients.
• Ensure PPE is worn and equipment is maintained and secured.
• Report time, equipment, and material usage; conduct daily truck inspections.
