Job summary

The Wyoming Department of Health, Chemical Testing Program, seeks an experienced Forensic Toxicologist (Scientist II) to perform high‑complexity testing of human biological samples for licit and illicit compounds using advanced mass spectrometry (QToF, LC/MS/MS, Headspace GC). Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Toxicology with coursework in analytical chemistry and forensics.
• 1 year of experience in forensic toxicology or a closely related field.
• Completion of the Indiana University Alcohol Borkenstein Course within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high‑complexity tests for licit and illicit compounds in human biological samples using MS techniques (QToF, LC/MS/MS, Headspace GC).
• Serve as QA liaison by reviewing SOPs and assisting method validations.
• Provide expert testimony and pre‑trial consultation as needed.
