Qualifikationen

• Requires CLIA certification from a board approved by HHS (ABFT, ABCC, ABB).
• Degree in toxicology or related sciences with chemistry/physics coursework; 30 semester hours in chemistry, 12 in toxicology; 6 physics hours.
• One year of specialized experience at GS-13 level relating to forensic toxicology laboratory management and data interpretation.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the laboratory operations across two sections.
• Develop and implement operating goals, plans, and budgets for the Laboratory.
• Provide expert consultation, testify in court, and guide staff on protocols and data interpretation.
• Direct personnel activities: hiring, promotions, performance evaluation, and training needs.
• Oversee financial management, procurement, and contract management to support Laboratory operations.
• Provide expert testimony in federal and district courts.
