Job summary

Aperture, LLC is recruiting for a forensic civil engineer to conduct investigations, assess structural conditions, and provide detailed documentation to support insurance-related forensic cases. You will review plans, field notes, and site data, perform inspections, and communicate findings to clients.

The role may involve travel for in-town and out-of-town investigations and requires strong report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with proven experience in forensic investigations, data analysis, and report writing.
• Structural engineering education and experience preferred.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, and 1-3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and document findings for forensic cases.
• Evaluate data from engineering reports, plans, and site records to form conclusions.
• Review site conditions, inspect structures, and collect measurements.
• Communicate project details with clients throughout the lifecycle.
