Job summary

Aperture LLC is seeking a civil engineer to conduct forensic investigations and provide detailed documentation for insurance-related cases. The role involves engineering analyses, inspections, and data collection to support thorough reports.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree, experience in forensic investigations, and is able to work within a collaborative team environment. Texas PE license is preferred, with 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with forensic investigations experience.
• Texas PE license preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses for a variety of structures including commercial and residential facilities.
• Conduct in-town and out-of-town inspections, collect data, document findings, and prepare floor plans and measurements.
• Review file information, construction documents, photos, and transcripts to form conclusions for forensic reports.
• Communicate with clients about project details and document all correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with other forensic investigations to determine cause, origin of damages, and building envelope deficiencies.
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering design documents.
