Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel is seeking a Social Work Outreach Coordinator in Colorado to advance forensic social work and related pipelines. You will lead outreach, recruit interns and fellows, support onboarding, and develop relationships with educational institutions to strengthen interdisciplinary-defense professionals statewide.

Reporting to the Social Work Program Manager, you will supervise fellows and assist with training and professional development, ensuring holistic-defense

Qualifikationen

• MSW degree from an accredited program and active Colorado LCSW licensure.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in forensic social work/criminal defense/indigent defense or related setting, including supervision experience.

• Develop and maintain statewide relationships to support recruitment of forensic social workers and interns.
• Coordinate recruitment and retention initiatives for qualified social work professionals in Colorado.
• Oversee MSW internship program administration and continuous improvement.
• Serve as primary contact for interns, fellows, and contractors regarding onboarding.
• Participate in interview, selection, onboarding, and orientation of program participants.
• Develop onboarding resources for interns, fellows, and other participants.
• Assist with orientation, training, and professional development for interdisciplinary professionals.
• Provide clinical consultation to social work professionals and defense teams within scope.
