Baptist Health in Kentucky seeks a Registered Nurse with SANE certification to join our PRN staffing team. The SANE conducts comprehensive forensic examinations for assault patients aged 14+, collects and preserves evidence, and may testify in legal proceedings while delivering compassionate patient care.
The role requires ADN, KY RN license, 1 year of relevant experience, BLS within 90 days, and SANE training within 6 months.
Qualificações
- ADN from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted KY RN licensure.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- SANE license in Kentucky with 60 hours training within 6 months.
- Crisis prevention training must be maintained annually.
Responsabilidades
- Perform comprehensive forensic examinations for assault patients 14+.
- Collect, preserve, and document evidence; testify if required.
- Apply forensic nursing knowledge to care plans and patient teaching.
- Provide compassionate care while facilitating follow-up care and dignity.
