Job summary

AdventHealth Daytona Beach seeks a Registered Nurse with a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) focus to provide 24/7 coverage for victims of sexual assault, including weekends and holidays.

You will perform forensic examinations, collect evidence per state protocols, coordinate with medical staff and law enforcement, and maintain meticulous documentation while offering compassionate care and referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience
• SANE certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays
• Conduct forensic examinations and collect evidence for sexual assault victims
• Collaborate with medical and law enforcement professionals to support victims
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow legal evidence-handling protocols
• Provide compassionate care and referrals to victims
• Work independently within established protocols
• Support victim advocates during investigations
