Job summary

Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in Holyoke, MA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Forensic Unit on a part-time, evenings schedule. The role offers an hourly rate of $42.55–$57.45, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

As part of a 150-bed inpatient facility, you will assess and plan care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for trauma-informed, patient-centered treatment while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required; compact license acceptable.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Forensic/ behavioral health nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, and team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure safety.
