Qualifications

• Licensed as Psychologist by the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists prior to permanent appointment.
• Two years of experience rendering psychological services or engaged in psychological research after receipt of the Psychologist license.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluative and consultative services to courts across Maryland.
• Operate as liaison with clinical teams at the hospital on legal issues faced by patients.
• Conduct competency for trial and criminal responsibility evaluations; write reports; testify as needed.
• Conduct risk assessment consultations and court-committed group sessions.
• Represent the hospital in state and county forensic meetings and in administrative hearings.
• Teach and supervise psychology trainees; participate in recovery-oriented clinical efforts.
