HLZAE, Inc. in New York City seeks a Project Manager for Forensics to lead investigations and building condition assessments from start to finish. You will manage client relations, scheduling, budgeting, and multi-disciplinary coordination to deliver quality results.

The role requires 5+ years in construction, architecture, or forensic investigation, with NYS licensure pursued or held. Hybrid work schedule in NYC and field work comprise ~50% of duties.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Architecture or Engineering is required.
• NYS Licensed Architect or Engineer, or actively pursuing licensure.
• 5+ years of experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or forensic investigation.
• Strong understanding of building materials, systems and codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage forensic investigations and building condition assessments from inception to completion.
• Oversee client communication, scheduling, budgeting, and staffing for projects.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines to ensure delivery.
• Lead field inspections including roof access and scaffold inspections.
• Prepare technical reports and project deliverables communicating findings clearly.
