Job summary

HLZAE, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Milrose Consultants, Inc., is seeking a Project Associate – Forensics in New York City. You will support forensic investigations and building condition assessments, under Directors and PMs, to build expertise in building systems and failure analysis.

The position is hybrid in NYC with standard hours and fieldwork approximately 50%. Salary range is $80,000–$100,000 per year, commensurate with knowledge and experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with building codes and industry standards.
• Experience with forensic investigation or building assessments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support forensic investigations and building condition assessments through inspections and documentation.
• Assist with field investigations, technical evaluations, and report preparation.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, proposals, and deliverables communicating findings clearly.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients; manage administrative tasks.
