Job summary

Qualified candidates will have a nursing degree, Oregon RN license, 40-hour SANE training (IAFN/SANE-A or OR SATF SANE), current BLS, and at least two years of nursing experience. Preferred SANE certifications and patient-centered care ethos are valued at Providence.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of the 40-hour IAFN or OR SATF SANE-A course.
• Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical-forensic exams according to protocol.
• Provide prophylaxis for pregnancy and STIs.
• Photographic documentation of examinations.
• Complete referrals for medical/psychological follow-up.
• Collaborate with advocacy agencies, law enforcement, prosecutors and child/vulnerable adult protection agencies.
