Job summary

Oregon Health Authority’s Salem Campus is seeking a Mental Health Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to individuals in a forensic psychiatric setting. You will administer medications, develop care plans, assess patients, and respond to psychiatric emergencies.

You will also monitor and supervise staff to ensure a therapeutic, safe milieu. The role is on-site at the Oregon State Hospital Salem Campus with schedule details noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon Professional Registered Nurse license during the entire length of employment.
• Experience in mental health and milieu management is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by the provider.
• Develop nursing plans of care and complete assessments.
• Respond to emergent psychiatric situations.
