Job summary

Minnesota Direct Care and Treatment is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Forensic Mental Health Program on rotating and night shifts. You will assess clients, develop care plans, and deliver nursing interventions in a secure treatment setting.

The role requires MN RN licensure and approval of CPR/First Aid; a BSN is preferred. This is a full‑time, benefit-eligible state position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved nursing school.
• Current licensure in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to pass/perform CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Intervention.
• Future Registered Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-RN are encouraged to apply. Contingent offers may be made upon degree and NCLEX-RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide experienced nursing care to clients in a therapeutic environment.
• Assess client needs and develop individualized nursing plans with the team.
• Provide direct nursing interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan.
