Job summary

SpringPath Mental Health Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks a Forensic Mental Health Practitioner to support competency restoration and recovery goals. You will educate and coordinate with individuals, create treatment plans, and connect with courts to aid transition back to treatment and community living.

Responsibilities include record-keeping, individual/group counseling, crisis management, and collaboration with health professionals to meet program goals and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related field with 4,000 hours of supervised experience in mental illness services.
• Or graduate degree in behavioral sciences with 2,000 post BA hours of supervised experience.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner encouraged; licensure pursued per education/standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
• Counsel clients individually or in groups to address dependencies and life changes.
• Interview clients and coordinate with professionals to assess suitability for programs.
• Develop and review treatment plans and monitor progress toward goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate with health professionals as needed.
• Collaborate with courts, probation, and community services as required.
